International legal practice Osborne Clarke has hired Lise Breteau as a new Partner to further bolster its Paris business in the IT and FinTech areas.

Lise is an experienced technology practitioner specialising in FinTech and InsurTech companies. She is particularly skilled at providing strategy and risk analysis support around electronic and mobile payments, e-health, online gaming, cyber security, privacy and emerging technologies such as the blockchain.

She assists a wide range of businesses from large national and international corporations to SMEs and start-ups, assisting them with regulatory structuring of their activities, contract negotiations, internal governance measures and security.

Lise was admitted at the Bar of Paris in 2006. She holds a Masters in International Business Law and Management from ESSEC Business School, and a Masters in Digital Law and New Technologies from Paris I-Sorbonne and Paris XI-Sceaux. Prior joining Osborne Clarke, Lise owned her own law firm.
