International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised Grover Group GmbH on Pre-Series-B-round in the value of EUR 41 million, divided into EUR 11 million equity capital and EUR 30 million debt capital.

A Berlin based start-up, Grover Group GmbH rents technology in all areas - from computers to smartphones, televisions and e-scooters. With more than 300,000 registered users on the platform, Grover takes care of the entire rental process: they buy the hardware, rent it, take care of any damage and in the end the customer can decide whether to buy the device or return it as agreed. With the new capital, the start-up now wants to grow internationally and open up two more European markets after Austria by the beginning of 2020.

An Osborne Clarke team led by corporate and venture capital Partner Nicolas Gabrysch advised on the financing round. The team also included Robin Eyben and Maximlian Vocke (both Corporate / VC, Berlin).
