Osborne Clarke advises Founders Factory on its partnership with RB to invest in tech start-ups

International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised Founders Factory on the launch of Founders Factory Hygiene and Home, a joint venture with Reckitt Benckiser (RB), to discover and develop start-ups who will transform the lives of consumers and create a cleaner world through cutting edge technology and innovation.

RB is a global leader in health, hygiene and home products. Its most well-known brands include Dettol, Durex, Scholl, Veet, Clearasil, Nurofen, Harpic and Air Wick.

RB joins the Founders Family as its eighth corporate partner and will invest in a number of fast-growth start-ups sourced through Founders Factory’s global network. The JV will give RB access to developing technologies, disruptive business models and entrepreneurial thinking to help them unlock exciting innovation to serve consumers.

Founders Factory is a longstanding and valued client of Osborne Clarke.  The firm has previously advised Founders Factory on investments from (amongst others) Guardian Media Group, L’Oreal, easyJet, Aviva and Holtzbrinck Publishing, in addition to advising Founders Factory on its partnership with M&S, and also on the launch of Founders Factory Africa.
