Sale of monumental office building Herenstaete
Osborne Clarke has advised Angelo Gordon and APF International on the sale of the monumental office building Herenstaete to CBRE Global Investors. Herenstaete is located on the Herengracht 206-216 in the canals of Amsterdam and contains 6,000 m². The building dates from 1616 and is part of the UNESCO world heritage.
Acquisition of Mediahuis complex
Osborne Clarke has advised Angelo Gordon and APF International on the acquisition of the Mediahuis complex located at Basisweg 30 in Amsterdam. Mediahuis, a newspaper publisher of titles including De Telegraaf, will become a long-term tenant of the complex. The location has substantial development potential.
Other transaction partners were Nivab (technical), PwC (tax) and STRUC (commercial).
Sale of office building Life
Osborne Clarke has advised Angelo Gordon and APF International on the sale of the multi tentant office building Life, located at the Van Deventerlaan 31 in Utrecht next to the A2 highway. Life is the figurehead of Papendorp consisting of almost 15,000 square meters.
A joint-venture of Angelo Gordon and APF International acquired the then vacant building in 2017, and completely renovated it. As a result the building became almost entirely let out.
The new owner is real estate investor Aspen Real Estate Investments. The transaction took place as a transfer of participations.
