The ILO awards are some of the most renowned accolades for lawyers. ILO acts as an online provider for legal services with numerous bar associations, including the German Bar Association, Deutscher Anwaltsverein (DAV). Every year, about 2,000 in-house lawyers from more than 70 countries determine the laureates through a survey. Only one lawyer from each country and each field of law can qualify as a winner – totalling to about 400 lawyers worldwide this year.
