Tim has deep expertise in supporting US companies expanding to Europe, Asia and other international markets.
He provides support and guidance for Osborne Clarke’s US clients as they extend their reach overseas working with a wide network of in-country experts across the globe to ensure a seamless service. He advises fast-growing companies from a number of sectors on both their initial market entry and across a broad range of cross-border issues as they continue to grow overseas. Tim has been integral to the launch and execution of Osborne Clarke’s fixed fee “In a Box” packages which provide clients with basic legal entry into key overseas markets for a budget on which they can rely.
Tim has been working with US companies expanding globally for over ten years. He also previously led Osborne Clarke’s business development efforts in the firm’s Silicon Valley office prior to moving to New York in 2016 to launch Osborne Clarke’s East Coast office. He plays a key role in the firm’s international expansion team, business development strategy and is an active member of New York’s transatlantic community.
Tim joined Osborne Clarke in 2012 having previously worked for the British government and Tech City UK in San Francisco supporting the world’s fastest growing technology companies on their expansion into the UK and Europe. He holds a BA in Global Business from the University of Southern California, a JD from Santa Clara University School of Law and is admitted to the New York Bar.
