Thomas Peter advises companies on all aspects of trade and competition law. He is specialised in structuring agency, dealer, and franchise networks in addition to handling a wide variety of commercial and contractual disputes. 

Thomas is specialised in the design of commercial contracts in the automotive and retail sectors. He advises the majority of the big car dealer associations in Germany on distribution matters and regularly drafts commercial and distribution agreements for brand-name manufacturers.

Having completed a long-term secondment in the legal department of a technology company in the retail sector, he also understands the in-house perspective. 

Thomas also teaches European trade and competition law at the University of Applied Sciences (RFH) in Cologne and regularly speaks at international conferences and events. 

Thomas joined Osborne Clarke in 2011 and qualified as lawyer in 2016.
