Thomas heads the employment practice, supporting German and foreign companies in all matters relating to individual and collective employment law. He has a particular focus on developing strategic concepts for companies in the recruitment industry.

In particular, Thomas advises staffing companies on employee leasing, independent contractors, HR compliance and cross-border projects for contingent workforce management (managed service providing, recruitment process outsourcing).

His practice also focuses on transactions, transfers of undertakings, the creation of employment contracts, and unfair dismissal proceedings. In addition, Thomas advises his clients on all aspects of industrial constitution and collective bargaining law as well as employment law in relation to insolvencies.

Thomas regularly publishes essays and publications in the specialist and daily press and holds presentations for HR specialists and for external seminar organisers, including Beck Academy, Management Circle AG.
