Samuel is a Senior Associate in Osborne Clarke’s Tech, Media and Comms team. He graduated in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and holds a Maîtrise en Droit from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. He also holds an Executive Master´s in Corporate Law (from the Studies Center of Garrigues and Harvard Law School), an Executive Master´s in Corporate Finance (from the Studies Center of Garrigues) and a General Course in Intellectual Property from the WIPO.

He has developed relevant expertise in the fintech arena and, in particular, in relation to the payments industry (commercial and consumer credit, SEPA, PSD2, 4MLD, 2EMD and eIDAS) providing legal advice in different projects from a regulatory and commercial perspective.

He has broad experience in the assessment of national and multinational corporations on data privacy, e-commerce, e-signature, e-invoicing, IT agreements, intellectual and industrial property matters (including litigation), as well as telecommunications and audiovisual regulatory issues.

He is specialised in corporate and M&A for technological companies, e-contracting and consumer law, the assessment of regulatory matters for advertising and marketing companies, as well as online gambling.

He provides legal advice in the framework of projects related to the IoT, Connected Consumers and Smart Cities.

Furthermore, he frequently participates as speaker and lecturer at different courses related to Tech, Media and Comms at various institutions and universities and contributes in specialized publications.

He is a member, among others, of the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM), IAPP and DENAE, and a legal arbitrator in the extrajudicial conflict resolution system for “.es” domain names.
