Rob Thomas

Rob is an Associate Director in the Osborne Clarke corporate tax practice, with experience advising on UK and cross-border tax issues. Rob joined Osborne Clarke in March 2021 having previously worked at a leading US law firm and is a Chartered Tax Advisor.
Rob works with a range of clients from private equity funds and large multi-national businesses to start-ups and individuals, across a broad range of industries and sectors. His practice covers transactional matters as well as standalone tax advisory. He has particular expertise advising on private equity transactions, management buy-outs and equity arrangements, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, group structuring and reorganisations, finance transactions and other corporate and commercial transactions.
Advised the senior management team of TTC Group on an investment from Pricoa Private Capital.
Advised UK lower mid-market investor, Tenzing Private Equity, and other shareholders on their sale of Smoothwall to Family Zone.
Advised the shareholders of Circus Street London, a leading provider of online training solutions, on its sale to QA.
Advised the shareholders of Datasine, a UK artificial intelligence company, on its sale to Shutterstock.
Advised the shareholders of iPRO Holdings, a solutions provider to the manufacturing sector, on its sale to Note.
