Reinhard Bunjes advises German and international banks, institutional investors, sponsors and borrowers on bilateral and syndicated finance transactions.

His praxis includes real estate finance (including bond financing), acquisition, project and export finance transactions as well as trade finance, Schuldschein loans and debt restructuring. He also advises on bank supervisory law and corporate law matters.

Among numerous financings he advised on the representation of a Swiss group of investors in composing several buy-and-build-structures as well as the financing of the refurbishment of the listed and landmark protected Riphahn buildings of the Cologne Performing Arts Center. Among other things he has recently advised on the financing of several renewable-energy-parks in the Netherlands.

Reinhard has studied law in Bielefeld and obtained a master of laws (LL.M.) degree from the University of Sydney School of Law. His legal traineeship included a stage at a law firm in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He has co-authored the section on international transactions in the handbook “Bankrecht und Bankpraxis”.
