Nick is a real estate lawyer with experience in a number of sectors. He joined Osborne Clarke in 2013, having previously been a partner in the London office of a large UK firm.
Much of Nick’s business involves acting on real estate finance matters for a variety of major lending institutions. He specialises in high-value portfolio transactions, providing both investment and development finance across a diverse range of asset classes such as logistics, hotels, high-end residential and further education facilities.
Nick has a real estate background and therefore, in addition to his property finance work, he represents a number of clients from across the property industry. These include investors, developers and hotels, both from the U.K. and overseas. He has particular experience in the management and disposal of retail portfolios.
Nick also advises on restructuring and enforcement of existing security. Over the years he has acted on a number of interesting and high-profile portfolio insolvencies, including First Quench Retailing and Chicago Rock Café.
Nick is described in Legal 500 as having ‘excellent knowledge and a strong commercial approach’, and Chambers says clients think he is ‘proactive and works really hard to get the deal done’.
