Luisa Amado is a foreign-qualified lawyer from Colombia with an LL.M. in International Dispute Resolution (Berlin). She is part of the International Arbitration team at the Cologne office.
Luisa specialises in international commercial arbitration and investor-State arbitration with special focus on Latin America.
She has worked in the oil industry and has experience with governmental institutions in Latin America. Luisa has lived in Colombia, Chile and Germany.
Luisa completed her bachelor studies at the Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá and got accepted to the Colombian Bar in 2017. She then completed her LL.M. at the Humboldt University of Berlin in 2019. Luisa speaks Spanish, English and German.
