Gaëlle Saint-Jalmes specialises in regulatory compliance, especially for food, cosmetics and health products, and in consumer protection law.

In private practice and as in-house lawyer, Gaëlle has gained extensive experience in Food Law (including health and nutrition claims, labelling, food supplements, foods for specific groups). Gaëlle has also developed a specific expertise in the fields of cosmetics and health (including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, anti-gift and transparency).

Gaëlle advises on commercial and consumer law, especially regarding unfair business practices, marketing and advertising law (notably for alcohol and tobacco).

Gaëlle worked as associate for eight years in the Economic law department at Deprez Dian Guignot & Associés (DDG), before joining the Food Law Direction at Danone Dairy, working for the Americas, Asia, Russia and Middle-East. Gaëlle joined Osborne Clarke as Counsel in May 2018.

Gaëlle was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2006 and holds a LL.M from the University of Cologne (Germany – 2003) and a DESS in European Business Law from the University Paris II – Panthéon Assas (2004).
