Peter advises leading companies and start-ups in the Tech, Media and Comms sector on all issues regarding data protection and other IT-law questions related thereto.
He focusses on innovative IT projects for sectors such as finance (eSigning, ePayment) or real estate (eHome, Smart Metering). Further, Peter advises on legal issues related to online platforms for eCommerce and other services as well as general digitalization projects (such as digital archiving systems).
He advised various clients in implementing innovative digital solutions (e.g. for stock trading, online authentification and consumer loan agreements). Among his clients are large corporations updating their analog processes such as banks, energy suppliers and housing associations. Peter also advises IT providers in complying with all relevant IT-law requirements.
Peter studied law in Munich. In his legal traineeship, he inter alia worked at the New York office of a big German corporate law firm. Afterwards, Peter wrote his doctoral thesis about liability for data corruption in cloud solutions and worked for the IT practice group of a big German corporate law firm in Essen.
