Max advises national and international clients from various industries in the field of distribution and commercial law. In particular, he focuses on the (re)structuring of distribution systems and supply chains and advises on all other matters of contract and commercial law.

Max advises domestic and multinational clients from a broad range of industries and sectors. These include manufacturers of consumer products, logistics companies, plant and machinery manufacturers, life science or health care companies on setting up and restructuring supply chains as well as distribution systems. He drafts standard terms for B2B and B2C transactions and all kinds of distribution agreements.

Max’s expertise also involves providing advice on insolvency law aspects, especially with a focus on distribution and commercial law related matters.

Prior to joining Osborne Clarke’s Hamburg office in 2020 as a lawyer, Max worked for a leading management consultancy in the field of corporate financial restructuring.

Max studied law at the University of Bayreuth, where he completed additional courses in economics, the University of Hamburg and the Jagiellonian University in Krakow (LL. M. Polish Business Law). At the University of Kiel Max earned his Dr. iur. with his thesis on comparative law in the field of insolvency law.
