David is a Partner in our real estate practice and heads the residential development and landowner sector group. With more than thirty years’ experience advising developers, David has a deep knowledge and understanding of the residential development market, strategic land joint ventures and consortia arrangements.

He is head of Osborne Clarke’s Bristol office and is a member of the firm’s partnership council, having joined the firm as a Partner in 2007. He qualified in 1981 and has been focused on the real estate developers market throughout his career, enabling him to bring a wealth of experience to bear for his clients’ benefit. He also has an extensive network of contacts across the industry. David is also recognised as a leading expert in sports law, having represented many high-profile sports stars and squads, including the British Lions and the England Rugby Team. He is a member of the Academy of Urbanism, which is dedicated to improving the city environment throughout Europe, and is a trustee of The Park Local Opportunity Centre in Bristol, which provides adult education and business support services. He is a former director of Bristol Rugby Club.
