Claudia is an experienced Commercial Disputes & Risk lawyer, specialising in both the Tech, Media & Comms and Retail & Consumer sectors (in particular within the Fashion industry).

Her practice includes advising major Retail and Consumer clients in relation to large commercial and IP disputes. She is particularly interested in Retail Technology and the Digital Transformation of the Retail world.

Claudia is solutions focussed, pragmatic and efficient. As well as problem solving, a real feature of her practice is dispute avoidance and prevention, with her primary focus to minimise brand damage and disruption in trade.

She regularly handles a variety of contractual and tortious disputes, including claims relating to the supply of goods, trading disputes, shareholder disputes, supply chain management, commercial agency and distribution agreements, data privacy issues and cyber security, warranties and indemnities, fraud and negligence, and defamation.

Claudia is also an experienced IP litigator, focussing on trade mark, design and copyright infringement, as well as disputes involving passing off, counterfeiting, trade secrets, ambush marketing, comparative advertising, cybersquatting and domain names. In addition to regularly handling IP disputes in the IPEC, High Court and at the UKIPO, she continues to guide and advise companies on global brand strategy including international brand protection, management and enforcement, re-branding and expansion issues. Claudia also advises on contentious licensing issues, image rights, and franchising issues.

Claudia is skilled in all forms of dispute resolution, including litigation, mediation, expert determination and arbitration.

She is well-versed in dealing with the press, recently handling a long-standing, highly confidential and sensitive dispute up to Court of Appeal judgment, which was the subject of significant media coverage.
