Claire is a Partner in our pensions advisory team, advising both employers and trustees of occupational pension schemes on all aspects of pensions law.
With over 17 years’ experience as a pensions lawyer, Claire’s work covers both defined benefit and defined contribution schemes and includes scheme establishment, merger, benefit changes, drafting scheme documentation and member communications, scheme funding, buy-ins and liability management exercises, wind-ups and regulatory compliance.
Claire has particular expertise in automatic enrolment compliance and advising in connection with scheme errors and benefit corrections, acting for a number of trustees whose schemes have been subject to rectification proceedings.
Claire qualified in 1993 as an employment lawyer and joined Eversheds, becoming a partner in 1999. She has specialised in pensions since early 2002 and joined Osborne Clarke in May 2019 from Burges Salmon.
