Akshay has advised on and handled the acquisition of a Singapore-based education corporate group by a large Indian edutech company, and several acquisitions of Singapore and Thai corporate groups by Japanese conglomerates. He has also advised several Singapore early-stage companies in the fintech, NFT, data analytics and medical tech spaces.
Before private practice, Akshay was a foreign service officer with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Singapore, in which capacity he assisted with the editing of Malaysia & Singapore: The Land Reclamation Case by Prof Tommy Koh, Deputy Attorney-General Lionel Yee and former CEO of the HDB Cheong Koon Hean. He was also a volunteer for the Pro Bono Services Office of the Law Society of Singapore.
Akshay holds an LLB from the National University of Singapore.
