From joining as a Trainee, to his appointment as Osborne Clarke’s youngest ever Partner, and most recently as International CEO: Omar has more than 25 years of experience with Osborne Clarke, and truly knows our organisation inside and out.

Omar will continue to progress Osborne Clarke’s three-dimensional client strategy, bringing together our legal expertise with the understanding of our clients and their sectors, and insight into the transformational trends impacting businesses today and tomorrow to deliver exceptional client service.
Omar takes an active role to promote Diversity and Inclusion across our international offices. He’s also known as the first to volunteer for a good cause, including regularly stepping in to help as a member of his local search and rescue organisation.
Omar previously led Osborne Clarke’s UK Projects, Real Estate and Finance practice for eight years, serving as a member of the UK Executive Board, and also served on the UK’s Partnership Council and the International Council.

Advised Foresight Solar Fund Limited on the completion of a £245m multi-level debt refinancing for a portfolio of 28 UK assets, representing an installed capacity of 321MW.
Advising TradeRisks on arranging and implementing £75.2m of fixed and indexed rate note to assist Arlington Investors with their purchase of boutique student accommodation provider Study Inn Group.
Advised Aberdeen Standard Investments on £57m of RPI-linked debt, refinancing Albion Community Power's UK portfolio of assets including onshore wind, hydro, solar and battery projects.
Advised the SPTS and Orbotech groups on their $125m corporate refinancing.
Advised corporate finance and investment firm, TradeRisks, on arranging and implementing £75.2m of fixed and indexed rate notes to assist Arlington Investors with their purchase of boutique student accommodation provider, Study Inn Group.
Advised Aberdeen Standard Investments’ infrastructure debt team on its loan of over £43m to finance six operational hydro-electric schemes in Scotland.
