Matt Leggett

Matt is a Senior Associate in Osborne Clarke's real estate team with broad experience in all aspects of commercial real estate, including property development, landlord and tenant matters, financing transactions and acquisitions and disposals of high-value investment assets and portfolios.

He advises property developers, institutional investors, corporates, lenders and private equity funds based in the UK and internationally.

Matt has particular expertise in large-scale mixed-use urban regeneration projects, including pre-letting and letting work for developers and tenants. He has spent time seconded to the in-house legal teams of Argent Related and Lendlease.

He is also experienced in leading teams advising clients on the acquisition and financing of high-value investment assets and portfolios in the logistics sector (including buying and selling property through corporate acquisitions and disposals).

Matt joined Osborne Clarke in February 2020 from the London office of Herbert Smith Freehills, where he trained and qualified in 2015.
