Joanna Risdale

Jo is an Associate Director in the Real Estate team and advises investors and developers on the acquisition, development, funding, ongoing management and ultimate disposal of commercial properties across a broad spectrum of asset classes.

Her clients range from regulated pension funds and REITs to regional developers and student accommodation providers to banks and other lenders.  Jo has worked with a number of her clients since she joined Osborne Clarke in 2008, with a focus on clients in the real estate and financial services sectors.

Jo has particular expertise in managing forward and development funding acquisition transactions on both the developer and funder sides, as well as leading and managing a number of portfolio acquisitions and disposals.

I have worked alongside OC Solutions for a number of years to help shape platforms for our clients that work for them, and to try and streamline processes and information flow where there are a number of parties and advisors who need to input to or access information.  I continue to be involved in shaping this offering internally and am always keen to have conversations with clients as to how we can use these platforms to try and be one step ahead.
