Who is Osborne Clarke Brussels looking for?
We are looking to reinforce the Corporate team with an associate to support the not-for-profit practice. Our ideal candidate has between two (2) and four (4) years of experience. We are looking for someone committed to developing as an expert in not-for-profit law and motivated to support the growing NPO practice at the firm. Professional experience in the not-for-profit sector or in a not-for-profit legal practice is an additional asset. You will be involved in a broad range of matters where the client counts on our expertise in restructurings and corporate work for not-for-profit organisations, NGO’s, foundations and charities. You will meet clients active in the not-for-profit sector, mainly from Digital Business, Life Sciences and Healthcare: You will be challenged, have a range of responsibilities, learn a lot and get a sense of what it means to be a not-for-profit sector-focussed, future-proof lawyer.
We are looking for someone who:
- is a true team player, with an international mind-set;
- is passionate about supporting, advocating and advising not-for-profits and motivated to build expertise in not-for-profit law;
- is eager to learn and be innovative and dares to think outside the box;
- is fluent in English (in addition to native French, with good knowledge of Dutch);
- has a Master’s degree in law in Belgium with demonstrated strong academic results;
- has good oral and written communications skills;
- has a good sense of humour and is fun to work with.
