Our corporate advisory team offers a full service of advice and assistance to guide directors through mazes within this spectrum. Our team comprises experienced lawyers who specialise in all issues relating to corporate governance, communications with investors and other stakeholders, compliance with UK Listing Authority continuing obligations, AIM rules compliance, OFR, money-laundering, financial services and the need for, and operation of, committees of boards of directors.
Our corporate advisory credentials extend to shaping policy and we regularly provide advice to our clients on constitutional matters, shareholder meetings, and corporate social responsibility. We were involved in making a submission to the Higgs Review on corporate governance as part of a working group which canvassed the opinions of Chairmen and NEDs during the Higgs consultative process.
We bring our understanding of the key operational requirements and dynamics of each business to bear, as well as a necessary perspective of commerciality, yet respecting the fact that issues in this area can be highly sensitive. We also offer training and up-dating services on corporate advisory issues for in-house legal counsel, company secretaries and others whose responsibilities include keeping abreast of these developments.
