IT & Telecoms Contracts
Our Commercial group specialises in advising clients, be they users or suppliers of technology and telecoms products and services,
ranging from start-ups to multinationals, on a broad range of commercial contracts within these converging industry sectors.
We pride ourselves on our knowledge of the technology, telecoms and communications sectors and many of our lawyers have worked
in the industries. Through our offices in the technology heartlands of Silicon Valley and Reading, we are closely involved
in developments within these dynamic sectors. We work closely with our European offices to offer truly pan-European Technology
and Telecoms expertise.
Acting as an extension of your in-house team, we draft and negotiate contracts on all aspects of IT and telecoms procurement,
software development/licensing, OEM/reseller arrangements, outsourcing, network infrastructure/interconnection, managed network
services, collocation, distribution channels, contact centres and service levels. Much of our work involves business critical
systems in regulated industries, drawing on our regulatory and project management expertise. Larger transactions can be project
managed at a local, national or international level.
- advising Vodafone on its strategic MVNO agreement with BT plc
- handling for SITEL the procurement of its global data network and associated support services
- advising a bidder to the NHS Programme for IT in relation to the provision of digital radio network services and hardware for the Ambulance Service
