The main areas of education sector advice include procurement of goods and services, including advising project sponsors on PFI/PPP education projects. We advise on information technology contracts; on corporate structures, including spin-out companies; major construction projects (including drafting and negotiating suites of construction documentation and advising on appointments of contractors); charity law; pension schemes; employment; and property transfers and management.

We advise universities (including the Universities of Bristol and the West of England) on major funding agreements, typically with the Department of Health, as well as in relation to the funding and structure of spin-out companies. We have recently advised an educational charity in relation to City Academies and implemented a number of incorporations for several long established cathedral schools.
