Mairi is an associate in the incentives team, advising on the full range of employee incentive matters. This includes advising companies on setting up and administering employee share schemes (both HMRC approved and unapproved, discretionary and all-employee) and advising trustees. She also advises on related employee tax issues and relevant aspects of corporate transactions.

Mairi has particular experience in advising on Enterprise Management Incentive Share Option Schemes. She has also recently been involved in the introduction of new Share Incentive Plans for several listed companies. She frequently advises on the treatment of incentive schemes as part of corporate transactions, including flotation and takeover of companies.

After graduating from the University of Bristol, Mairi trained and qualified at Osborne Clarke in 1999. She has successfully completed a post-graduate weekend certificate course in pensions law at the University of Bristol. She is a member of the Association of Pension Lawyers and the Share Plan Lawyers Organisation.
