Greg is the overall head of our private equity group and leads our corporate practice in the Thames Valley. Greg’s clients include 3i Group plc, Barclays Private Equity, LDC and ECI.  Greg and his team have been busy advising these clients on some of their key transactions this year as well as various management teams with management and secondary management buy-outs.

Recent deals include acting for Carphone Warehouse on the acquisition of Onetel from Centrica, for up to £154m, acting for LDC on the buy-out of Apollo Group, the disposal of Omnico to SIG, acting for management and BPE on the sale of Recruitment Solutions Group to Hays Plc, the £17m management buy-out of Knight Banner Information Ltd for 3i, acting for the management team on the £64m buy-out of Faith Shoes, acting for 3i Group on the £32m MBO of Petrochem UK Ltd and for the management team on the MBO of The Regard Partnership and subsequent acquisitions.

Greg is a member of the British Venture Capital Association, and is the author of the 'Buy Outs' chapter in 'Palmers Company Law Handbook'.
