Paul is head of Osborne Clarke's Financial Institutions Group and a specialist financial services lawyer. He has a broad range of experience, including experience of M&A and capital markets transactions, establishing private equity and property funds and of advising institutional investors on alternative investments.  He advises on the full range of legal and regulatory issues affecting businesses providing or promoting financial services within the UK.

Paul has particularly strong experience in the payments industry where he has been involved in a number of transformational projects.

Paul trained at Lovells, qualifying in 1990. He worked in the corporate and capital markets areas and undertook a number of client secondments gaining a broad range of experience before specialising in financial services. After six years as a partner in Lovells' financial institutions group, Paul joined Osborne Clarke in November 2005.
