International legal practice Osborne Clarke has advised Goodix Technology (HK) Company Limited on the acquisition of all shares in Commsolid GmbH.

CommSolid is a cellular IP company providing leadingedge ultra-low power solutions for the growing IoT market, based in Dresden with more than 30 staff. In addition to the the founders, Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Sachsen mbH and High-Tech Gründerfonds were among the shareholders.

Goodix Technology (HK) Company Limited is a subsidiary of Shenzhen Goodix Technology Co. Ltd, a world leader in biometric and human interface technologies for smartphones and tablets.

A team led by partner Nicolas Gabrysch advised Goodix Technology and included Rouven Siegemund, Till-Manuel Saur, Dr Mark Friedrich (all Corporate), Sonja Riedemann, Nils-Frederik Wiehmann, Hanna-Maria Kampherm, Johanna Reiland (all Employment), Felix Hilgert, Dr Marc Störing, Konstantin Ewald (all IT), Konstantin Sitte, Dr Tim Reinhard (both IP), Dr Thomas Grünvogel (Commercial), Dr Sebastian Hack (antitrust) and Dr Christoph Torwegge (Foreign trade law).
