Osborne Clarke has advised implexis GmbH on its sale to Hitachi Solutions.

Implexis is the German retail Microsoft Dynamics 365 specialist – the company integrates ERP systems in multi-channel retailing companies and uses end-to-end software to enhance transparency for collaboration processes. Implexis was founded in 1993 and has 250 staff across five locations in Germany. It has successfully completed over 950 projects mainly in the retail sector.

Headquartered in Tokyo, Hitachi Solutions Ltd., is part of the Hitachi group and a market leader in delivering proven business and IT strategies and solutions to companies across many industries. The company provides value-driven services throughout the IT life cycle from systems planning to systems integration, operation and maintenance.

An Osborne Clarke team led by Dr Martin Sundermann advised implexis on this transaction. It included Dr Mark Friedrich (Corporate), Dr Thomas Funke (antitrust), Joachim Breithaupt (tax) and Tim Reinhard (IP).
