Osborne Clarke has advised Highland Europe on its EUR 25 million investment in Camunda Services GmbH (Camunda). The capital raised will be used for further expansion in the United States, Europe and Asia as well as for product development.

Camunda was founded in 2008 and offers companies from various industries individual open source software for the automation of business processes. Customers include, amongst others, Universal Music, Deutsche Bahn, Goldman Sachs, Lufthansa Technik, Deutsche Telekom and Zalando.

Highland Europe is an investor in expansion-stage internet, mobile and software companies demonstrating rapid growth and addressing large market opportunities.

An Osborne Clarke team led by Corporate and Venture Capital Partner Nicolas Gabrysch advised Highland Europe on the investment.
