Osborne Clarke advises Alterian on £68.4 million takeover

Osborne Clarke has advised leading marketing analytics and social media company Alterian plc on its £68.4 million recommended takeover by global information management provider SDL plc.
Alterian has its headquarters in the UK and operates globally via 10 international offices. It specialises in managing marketing campaigns, providing analytics and social media monitoring.
Jonathan King, corporate partner, Osborne Clarke, said:
“We were delighted to advise Alterian on its takeover by SDL. We have worked with Alterian for many years and we wish the team well under the stewardship of SDL. This has been a busy month for Osborne Clarke’s corporate team, with three of the takeovers we have been working on closing.”
The Osborne Clarke team advising Alterian was led by corporate partner Jonathan King and included associate Matthew Bodfield and solicitors Mathias Loertscher and Jenny Reid. Associate Sue el-Hachmi advised on employee benefits.
