Yves is a Counsel in the commercial team in Brussels.

Yves is in charge of the competition and regulatory practice. He specialises in distribution with a particular focus on the retail and transport and automotive sectors.

Yves advises leading brands in the digital world and retail industry throughout Europe and the US.

Yves possesses in-depth knowledge of setting up distribution systems, including e-commerce, competition compliance policies, public procurement and is involved in various EU funded projects within the Horizon2020 framework of the European Commission.

Yves also has extensive experience in various aspects of contract law.

Yves holds Master’s Degrees in Commercial law from the VUB – Free University of Brussels and in International law from the Università degli Studi di Verona (Verona, Italy). Yves also holds a PG in Competition law from King’s College (London, UK).

Yves has been with Osborne Clarke since the Brussels office was set up. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Yves worked in his family’s SME performing various duties, such as production duties, sales and management. This experience helped him to gain a unique insight into all aspects of commercial companies.
