Thomas Schnabel leads our The Built Environment sector group in Germany. He mainly advises clients in real estate transactions and further focuses on contract drafting and negotiations in the area of commercial tenancy law.

His clients include funds, project developers, a large variety of corporate occupiers and investment companies. Major national and international retail companies trust his specialist knowledge in retail matters.

Further, Thomas provides his clients with specialist knowledge in the area of renewable energy and supports investment companies and other clients with the development and the acquisition or sale of wind and solar parks.

Thomas qualified as a lawyer in 1999, joined Osborne Clarke in 2001 and became a partner in 2009.

He is a member of the German Lawyers Association (DAV) working group for tenancy law and real estate as well as a member of the German tenancy law forum. He is co-author of a handbook on commercial tenancy law.
