Sarah is based in Osborne Clarke’s office in Silicon Valley, California and advises US-Headquartered clients on their international expansion needs. She works with start-ups as well as global organisations across a wide range of sectors, including digital business, life sciences and retail.
She works closely with Osborne Clarke’s international offices and its wider network to provide US companies with a streamlined approach to their international expansion. Being on the ground in time zone means she can provide local support and help US companies to successfully navigate all of the relevant corporate, tax, employment and incentives, immigration and intellectual property issues as well as get quick access to any other advice required.
Sarah’s background is employment law and she has extensive experience advising on all employment related issues from corporate acquisitions and senior executive exit packages to employment related litigation. She worked for many years in London advising US and other international and domestic companies on employment needs including large cross border projects.
In addition to international expansion work, Sarah has spoken and delivered training on her areas of expertise at numerous events for C-Suite, legal counsel and HR professionals. She has written articles published on a variety of employment law topics and international expansion issues, including being interviewed and quoted in Director magazine, writing for an international trade publication and engaging with national press on legal reforms.
