Sadie is an Associate in Osborne Clarke’s London office. She advises on a range of financial regulatory matters affecting banks, investment/fund managers, and other companies providing financial services. Sadie also has experience in payments, consumer credit and crowdfunding.

Sadie’s recent work includes:

  • assisting with the formation of real estate and private equity funds and managing subsequent closings;
  • drafting and reviewing discretionary portfolio management agreements, appointed representative agreements, custody agreements, depositary agreements and administrator agreements;
  • advising on regulatory matters concerning an ISA manager; and
  • advising on general financial regulatory matters including regulated activities, money laundering, financial promotions, client money and conflicts of interest.

Sadie also carries out corporate support work; advising on and assisting with change in control and approved persons applications and assisting with the due diligence process.

Sadie trained at a large UK firm and joined Osborne Clarke upon her qualification in September 2013, starting off in the banking team (acquisition finance) and joining the firm’s Financial Institutions Group in January 2015. Prior to starting her training contract, Sadie spent some years gaining industry experience, including two years at UBS Wealth Management and a year at the Financial Ombudsman Service.
