Marialaura started working for the firm in March 1994 immediately after graduating from university. This was followed by an internship in the United States with the legal and licensing department of F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd and a brief stint working at another law firm in Milan.
Marialaura qualified in1996 and since 2009 has been granted rights of audience before the Supreme Court.
Working in Osborne Clarke, she has gathered a lot of experience. Today she is a Senior Associate and acts for key clients in the tertiary sector, giving them legal support in issues that they face day to day, both judicial and otherwise, working alongside, where appropriate, colleagues in other departments.
She has specific expertise in the field of intellectual property and data protection, as well as in-depth knowledge of the retail industry.
Marialaura has acted as an assistant to the IP department of the Milan State University and has collaborated with the Italian-German Chamber of Commerce in Milan in drafting articles on intellectual property and data protection for their newsletter Norme e Tributi: Recht und Stern. She collaborates with the journal published by De Ferrari Editori entitled Le sezioni specializzate italiane della proprietà industriale e intellettuale. Rassegna di giurisprudenza, edited by Massimo Scuffi and Marina Tavassi.
She is also a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals and of the Italian Association of Data Protection Officers..
