Lizette trained at Osborne Clarke and joined the FIG team on qualification in March 2015, specialising in investment funds with significant experience in advising venture capital funds.

Lizette advises on a range of investment fund and financial regulatory matters affecting investment/fund managers and investors, with a particular focus on venture capital. She works with various well-known VC clients, including Notion Capital, MMC Ventures and Passion Capital, and with Foresight Group and Nordic real estate specialist Niam AB.

Lizette assists with the formation of venture capital/private equity and real estate funds and their ongoing management, and advises a variety of investors, including the BAE Pension Schemes and LGPS, with their proposed fund investments and segregated mandates.

I sit on our local Bristol pro-bono/CSR committee, and look to help with Osborne Clarke's efforts to provide pro-bono legal assistance and other volunteering work within the wider community.

Assisted with the launch of both Notion's fourth private equity fund, which raised in total c.£135 million (above its original £125 million target) and focuses on the enterprise information technology market.
