Laurent is a Partner and heads the tax practice in Brussels.
Laurent is specialised in all aspects of corporate and personal tax, with extensive experience in carrying out international transactions.
His practice focuses on corporate structuring/restructuring, the tax aspects of M&A, private equity, investment funds and treasury centers, high net worth individuals and expats issues.
He serves both publicly-traded and closely held businesses, both at the level of the companies and the ultimate shareholders.
Before joining Osborne Clarke in 2015, he spent over 15 years working in a top-tier Benelux law firm.
He is a member of the International Fiscal Association and has been a member of the Brussels Bar since 2000.
He was ranked as a tax expert in Chambers & Partners (Global, 2014, 2015).
He is also adjunct professor at the École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP-Europe).
Laurent holds a Post-graduate degree in Tax from the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Fiscales (Brussels), and a Post-graduate degree in Economics from the Leuven Management School – Vlerick.
