Kevin is data protection and media lawyer in our Amsterdam digital business team. He advises clients on all areas of data protection and privacy, digital media and intellectual property law. He has a particular focus and on digital business, media and the sharing economy.
Recent examples of Kevin’s work include:
assisting clients with consumer and data protection law regulatory investigations;
advising on broad range of data protection related matters, including data retention and privacy policies, international data transfers, data protection notifications and privacy impact assessments;
advising on advertising, consumer protection and e-commerce matters.
Prior to joining Osborne Clarke in 2014, Kevin worked as an associate at Baker & McKenzie in the TMT team in Amsterdam.
He read law at the University of Utrecht, Queen Mary University and the University of Amsterdam, and was a research intern at the Institute for Information Law (IViR).
He is also a member of the Dutch Association for IT and Law and Dutch Privacy Law Association (VPR) and frequently publishes updates on data protection law, recent examples include the Dutch data security breach notification obligation, the EU-US Privacy Shield and the General Data Protection Regulation on www.ocmarketinglaw.com.
