Helen is an Associate Director in the Real Estate team with a focus on residential development.

As a key member of our market leading residential development, she acts on immediate and strategic acquisitions for a number of national and regional housebuilders. She is experienced in all aspects of development transactions including the acquisition of undeveloped and serviced land parcels, options, promotions, hybrids and overage on sites ranging from 50 – 1500+ units. She works closely with the wider residential team dealing with site set up and plot sales to ensure a smooth transition from acquisition to disposal. 

Helen also acts for registered providers advising them on a range of transactions including s106 affordable housing, investment purchases and joint ventures with developers applying her knowledge of the commercial drivers of both parties to achieve a successful outcome. 

She qualified in December 2012 and joined Osborne Clarke in 2015.

Acted for a PLC house builder on the conditional acquisition of a 1500+ unit development site from a local authority.

PLC client

Completed the unconditional acquisition of a £50m site in the south east for a PLC client.

Affordable housing

Advised a registered provider on entering into a JV with a national housebuilder for the delivery of 920 units including the delivery of additional affordable housing.
