Frankie is a Senior Associate in Koh Vass & Co’s Corporate and Commercial team and is one of the founder members of Koh Vass & Co. She has advised a leading social media company on telecommunications regulations.
She has experience in a wide range of telecommunications, media and technology matters. She has advised a leading electronic payment system company in the application for a stored value facilities’ licence, and has worked on a significant regulatory technology outsourcing transaction for services provided to a multinational financial institution. She recently advised an international technology client on a high profile data privacy project, and that project was named the Deal of Year Award by China Business Law Journal. Frankie has advised international retailers on their commercial matters and distribution arrangements.
Frankie is a regular speaker on Fintech, Regtech, blockchain and cybersecurity issues at industry conferences, and part-time teaches Fintech regulations at tertiary institutions. Frankie has worked in Shanghai and at Osborne Clarke’s London office where she assisted in corporate and commercial matters, including providing legal assistance to online ecommerce platforms and software companies. She previously worked as a parliamentary assistant at the House of Lords in London.
Frankie is qualified in Hong Kong, New York State, and England and Wales. She obtained her Master of Laws (Corporate) (Distinction) from University College London on the British Chevening Scholarship, and her business administration and law degrees in Hong Kong.
