Francesco specialises in litigation and arbitration, focusing on civil, commercial and bankruptcy matters and provides advice on general corporate questions.

He has accrued considerable experience in litigation centering on corporate issues such as: directors and statutory auditors’ liability; invalidity of shareholders’ resolutions; invalidity of resolutions of the board of directors; post-mergers and acquisitions disputes.

He has gained a significant expertise in litigation related to insolvency matters (such as claw back action and opposition to debt statement in bankruptcy proceeding) and restructuring agreements and restructuring plans.

In addition Francesco has extensive experience in financial and insurance intermediation. In this area, he advises financial and insurance brokers and investment fund managers in litigation related to unit/index linked insurance.

Francesco graduated in 2006, summa cum laude, from the University of Bari, with a thesis in corporate litigation. He has been a member of the Milan Bar since 2009. Francesco is also recognised by the Milan Chamber of Arbitration as a "Professional trained in Arbitration". He joined Osborne Clarke in 2015.

Major Italian investment company

Advising the client and its majority shareholder on arbitration proceedings brought by them before the International Chamber of Arbitration in Milan against an international investment fund. The arbitration concerns a dispute related to the dismissal of a manager, a share option and its related fair market value. The arbitration is in English with the application of the international rules on the examination of witnesses.

Luxembourg investment fund manager

Successful in defending litigation with claim value in excess of €14 million relating to unit linked insurance policies.

Health Italia

Advised on the listing of the company shares on the AIM Italia - the alternative capital market organised and and managed by Borsa Italiana S.p.A.
