Ann-Sophie De Graeve joined Osborne Clarke as a senior associate in 2014 to help build a strong Digital Business practice team in Brussels.

She specialises in global outsourcing transactions (both contentious and non-litigious), IT law (including software license contracts), data protection, media law and e-commerce. She also advises on soft IP issues such as copyright and trade mark related issues (both contentious and non-litigious).

Ann-Sophie has advised a wide range of multinational companies, with a particular emphasis on modern technology companies (biotech and healthcare, IT, outsourcing companies). Recent examples of Ann-Sophie’s work include advising a large pharmaceutical company on a second generation global outsourcing deal, providing data protection advice to companies in the digital business sector, negotiating an IP license agreement for a large non-for profit organization, advising clients on direct marketing initiatives and consumer rights.

Ann-Sophie obtained her law degree from the University of Ghent (2006) and an LLM at the University of Virginia, USA (2007). She was part of Allen & Overy’s Belgian IP/IT team for seven years, before joining Osborne Clarke. Ann-Sophie was seconded to the legal department of a large outsourcing company in Brussels in 2008 (six months) and later on to the legal department of a large pharmaceutical company in Switzerland in 2011 (four months), giving her a unique insight into her client’s perspectives.
