Dr Anke Freckmann co-leads the international employment group. She advises multinational companies in particular on cross-border transactions, restructurings, outsourcings, acquisitions, downsizing measures and compliance issues.

Her clients benefit from her comprehensive experience in negotiations with works councils and trade unions when implementing the strategies and solutions developed. Her practice also focuses on the deployment of foreign staff and the employment law aspects of IT use in companies, e.g. cloud computing, social media, bring your own device, etc..

Anke has particular experience in the strategic planning and management of cross-border projects (such as international restructurings, transfers of businesses and relocations of operations). She has represented clients in several proceedings at the Federal Labour Court.

Before Anke joined Osborne Clarke in May 2007, she was a partner at a well-known law firm in the south of Germany.

Anke is a lecturer at the academy of a large company and holds lectures on a regular basis in German, English and French at national and international conferences.
