Aisling is a Senior Associate in the firm’s Financial Institutions Group and specialises in financial services, payments and consumer finance.
She regularly advises a wide range of clients including banks and other financial institutions, as well as payment service providers and e-money institutions, on compliance with UK and EU law and regulation. She has particular experience in the payments and e-money regimes, the FCA Handbook, consumer credit and European financial services directives such as AIFMD, MiFID and IMD.
Aisling recently spent six months on a client secondment to a global provider of corporate payment solutions, where she assisted with product development and international strategy from a payments regulatory and commercial perspective.
She passed the CISI Investment Diploma, Regulation and Compliance exam in Winter 2014. Aisling joined Osborne Clarke as a trainee in March 2012 and qualified in March 2014.
