You might know me as 'Cat-the-Kat', the Australian member of the well-known and highly regarded IPKat blogging team. As you will probably glean from my IPKat contributions, I am very passionate about all aspects of intellectual property, technology and media laws, and I am also skilled at explaining complex problems in a straightforward and practical manner.
I joined Osborne Clarke in 2011 as an IP specialist. My practice focuses on developing and implementing strategies for the creation, exploitation, management and enforcement of a wide range of IP rights (such as copyright, trade marks, designs, patents and confidential information). I also advise on IT contracts, data protection and life science issues.
Prior to Osborne Clarke, I completed a DPhil in copyright law at the University of Oxford and I undertook a broad range of IP, IT and media advisory and litigation work in the UK and Australia. I qualified as a solicitor in New South Wales (Australia) in 2002 and in England & Wales in 2009.
