Lots of people have been asking us questions about our rebrand and our new website. So we thought it wise to put together a page for them. And you.
Who did all the design work? Dragon Rouge
www.dragonrouge.com a brilliant independent global design agency. They took a long hard look at our business and they thought we were underselling ourselves. So they defined, created and delivered our new look and feel, to make sure we looked as confident as we feel about our business.
Who did the illustrations? A picture paints a thousand words. Lawyers like words. You see where we're going with this? We used two illustrators on the project: Peter Grundy and Chris Mitchell.
Peter's work can be seen here:
www.grundini.com He's done work for Shell, South West Trains, The Guardian's G2 section… you get the picture.
Chris specialises in drawing cats (and other animals) for organisations. And we loved our old cat and wanted it to evolve. You can see more of his work on his website here:
www.epicicons.com Why do you have a cat?
A panther? Because to us it signifies hunger, and drive and fleetness of foot. And we think that these are good qualities. We're the only law firm to have used an animal in its visual identity to our knowledge.
Why do you sound different?
We believe that when you read something from Osborne Clarke it should be lively and engaging. And that it leaves you wanting to know more about us. We had some help from our friends at The Writer. They bring a lot of common sense to writing projects. Especially Neil. Their website is here:
www.thewriter.com We hope they like this page.
What else?
We used some great guys to do the website redesign, called 3Sixty. They taught us a new word: Colophon. Which is where you found this page. Colophons started life as a brief description inside a book including its printing and publication details. Nowadays, the term tends to get used on websites for exactly the kind of information that you're reading here. Anyway, you can read more about the agency and their good people here:
